Xiaomi has opened pre-orders in China for the Mijia Air Conditioner Powerful Air Pro Ultimate Edition 1.5 HP, which has first-level energy efficiency: Super Level 1. The new model is launching alongside the standard Mijia Air Conditioner Powerful Air Pro, with one major distinction: it delivers a gentler airflow.

Softer airflow through 602 micro-holes

In the Ultimate Edition, air passes through 602 micro-holes, dispersing the airflow in multiple directions to make it feel softer. Xiaomi says this setting is intended to reduce discomfort caused by air-conditioning, including headaches and nasal congestion, while making the unit more suitable for babies and older people.

Cooling, heating and smart controls

Otherwise, the model matches the regular version. The air conditioner can produce airflow of up to 1000 m³/h, has an APF rating of 6.30, and supports both room cooling and heating. The company states that it takes only 15 seconds to begin cooling a room. It also features a 118 mm fan, an energy-saving algorithm, a self-diagnosis system, HyperOS Connect support, plus app-based and voice control.

In China, the Xiaomi Mijia Air Conditioner Powerful Air Pro Ultimate Edition will cost 5099 yuan, or roughly $750. There is currently no information on a release in other markets.
